Drawing Sketches

Background:

Designing products and architectural shapes have always been fun to me. So, when it comes to meet end user specifications, my pursuit of perfection arises.

Design Challenge:

I created the above sketch for a class project in February 2012 on sketch paper having as model a still image, which I photographed to ensure ideal light source.

I also used graphite pencils 2H, 2B, 6B to achieve a great deal of depth, values, shading, and contrast. My greatest challenge was to beautifully bring the still reproduction to life, sketch-drawing it with assorted degree pencils for the first time. The end result was indeed exhilarating!
