Magazine Cover
Background:
Building multiple graphic design layouts for magazines, ads, booklets, and the web have always been a passion to me. When it comes to gather every piece of visual communication handed out by a client in order to generate an effective layout design that conveys an efficient message to the viewers, my creativity and innovation kicks off.
I enjoy symmetry in design using commonly the Gestalt theory. So, it's important for me to dive deep down into the client's specifications and look for the best approach to transform his/her thoughts into compelling tools of communication that impact the user.
Design Challenge:
The layout of the magazine cover above designed in November 2012 for a class project, includes specific features particularly the removal of the backgrounds from both original images which has been a lengthy and stifling process. My best option to achieve a perfect result was to retouch it in Photoshop, then arranged all elements in InDesign to create a vital mean of communication to the viewers.

Finally, I chose Sans Serif fonts to stimulate a strong appearance and utilized appropriate color schemes that blend together to match the outfits of both man and woman, thus conveying energy and action to the target audience.
